My name is Andreas Schubert, I live in Whistler BC, and spend all of my time snowboarding the mountains and making videos documenting the experience.
My videos include daily vlogging of riding my home mountains (Whistler Blackcomb), as well as traveling to other mountains, resorts and countries. In addition I make product review videos that help people shop for snowboarding gear and accessories.
My videos often include my circle of friends here in Whistler, including Kevin Peirce from Snowboard Pro Camp, Chris Eyres, and TJ Kern of Board Archive. We often collaborate our efforts together, helping one another film and create content.
I've spent my entire adult life working in ski and snowboard shops, and currently still am doing so, at Comor Sports in Whistler BC. My time spent working in shops has helped me to amass extensive amounts of knowledge and understanding in the sport and its equipment. I use this knowledge to teach others about the sport and to review various products.

Über-Egging
Its April 21st. Its another powder day! The season won't let go! I brought out the Überegg, now its time to shred some freshies!
Join me and my buddy Brent as we hunt down the remaining pow lines on this late season powder day.
I'm riding my Korua Shapes Überegg, which is super loose and fun in these conditions. Furthermore the board's shape demands a fun stylistic change in my riding style and technique.
The highlight of the day was the lap we did on Peak, into VD Trees- where we found a sweet, immaculate pow field to get some dank turns through. Unfortunately, we also had to cope with some less than awesome conditions on the way down from this lap.

Awesome 🎉.. what's the safety devices do you use for tree wells?
There really aren't any safety devices for tree wells unfortunately. Staying in control of your board is super important. If you fall in a well, don't panic, don't struggle- make precise, well thought out movements. Ultimately, anything can happen, and one has to be willing to take that risk. Obviously, skill set and experience play a major factor in all of this.

I'll probably need a new one soon. I've made a bunch of repairs. Tail keeps delaminating. JB Weld has actually worked really well holding it together. I love the board so much though. Nothing compares to it. Feels like full blown surfing. I feel like Casey Willax riding a big wave when I'm on it.
